What is Meta Description:
Meta
Description is tells the information to the Search Engine Crawlers
(Search Engine Robots) about your Blog Post or Web Page. If you write an
article about Some Cars, then add your Description of your article in
blog, then the Search Engine Crawlers are find your page in Search
Results Using this Meta Description.
In
other words a Meta Description is an XML/HTML Element to help the
Search Engine Crawlers to find your Website or Blog in Search Results in
Good Position.
to add Meta Description to your Blog
- Go to Blogger Settings
- In Settings Click on Search Preference

- Scroll up and Find Meta Tags tab
- Click on Edit Option as seen in above figure (NOTE: when you open the meta tags tab first time there is two options in that they are Yes or No)
- Click on Yes and Enter your Description in that Box and Click on Save Changes
- Please Note that this is your Entire Blog Description so write the Description of your what type of your blog or what is offering you to your visitors.
- Then go to your Blog Posts and Click on Edit and in the Right side find Post Settings, Click on Search Description and enter your Post Description and Click on Done.
- Please Note that before writing every post you compulsory follow this Step.
- In case Using a Custom Template to your Blog then Follow these steps also, because some custom templates are not working under this trick. So you can follow below steps to successfully add your Meta Description to your Every Post.
In case of Custom Template:
- Go to Blogger Settings, Click on Template
- Click on Edit Html Option.
- Before you going to Edit your Html Please Download your template.
- Next Find this Code <head> Using Ctrl+F button.
- Copy the Below Code to below <head> Section.

- Next Click on Save Template Option. That's it you are Successfully added your Meta Description to every Post of your Blogger.
