 What is a Sitemap?

Simply Sitemap is a  Road map of your Website (or) Blog. Sitemaps is helps Crawlers of Search Engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing etc. to find your Indexing Posts and Pages of Your Blog (or) Website.

Sitemaps are Play a Big role to find your website in Search Engines. So Correctly using this to Improve your website ranking factors.

Whenever Blogger have a Default Sitemap, but it Shows Only Updated 26 Posts of Your Blog. Your Blog have a Hundreds of Posts then you can Use below sitemap to Blogger.

How to Create a Sitemap for Blogger

You have an Hundreds of Posts in Your Blog then the You can Use below sitemap to Index all of your Posts in Search Engines.

• Open your Blogger Dashboard
• Go to Settings
• Go to Search Preferences

 As like Below Image

• Go to Crawlers and Indexing
• Click On Edit

• Click On Yes

Paste this Below Code in Empty Box and Click Save Changes

Disallow: /search
Allow: /
 
Sitemap: http://blog.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&

max-results=500

Note: Replace of your Blog Name in Place of "blog" of above code.
In case of Custom Domain Replace of your domain name in Place of "blog.blogspot.com"

Then Click on Save Changes button. That's it You are Successfully add your sitemap to Blogger.
